Tracy Powell, D.V.M.Tracy received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University. She breeds and shows Great Danes in conformation, agility, rally, and obedience. Two of her dogs are therapy dogs and they enjoy visiting nursing homes, hospitals and schools. Tracy is involved in her local breed club and Dane rescue. Her 4-legged kids include 4 Great Danes, a rescued Golden Retriever and a cat.
Besides being active with her dogs, Tracy also enjoys scuba diving and traveling. Some memorable trips include diving with the whale sharks in Belize and getting up close and personal with the animals in the Galapagos Islands

Sharon graduated from Vet College of Ireland in 1998. She worked in Dublin for three years before moving back to Connecticut in 2001. Sharon completed an internship in Emergency Medicine at Boston Rd Animal Hospital. She also received a certificate in Emergency and Critical Care from the University of Sydney in 2007. Dr Lynch is married to Fred, a veterinary technician. They share their home with Phoebe and Emma (two Black Labs), Kayley, Susie, Dust Bunny and Puca (cats). They also have two bearded dragons, fire bellied toads, a pacman frog and a pixie frog. Sharon and Fred enjoy traveling and going to concerts, most notably U2 shows. They are also avid Red Sox fans.
Heather Plouffe - Practice Manager
Heather comes to us with a background in retail Management. She brings to our clinic a wealth of business knowledge and understanding. Heather is active in Greyhound rescue and fostering. She enjoys traveling, kayaking, hiking and spending time with her fur children; Katsumi (Great Dane), Connor (Greyhound), Jazie (Greyhound) and Maggie the cat.

Renee Woods - Veterinary Assistant
Renee is one of our veterinary assistants. She has been a part of the Animal Medical Clinic family for the past two years. When Renee is not at work, she can be found spending time with her husband, Mark, and their three rescued furkids: Clara (Saint Bernard), Mocha (Newfoundland) and George (Newfoundland). Aside from her love of animals, Renee has a special interest in canine reproduction.

Nancy Perrett - Veterinary Assistant
Nancy assists in surgery, performs dental cleanings and radiographs. She has been at the AMC since February of 1993! When not at work, she enjoys training her Irish Sport Horse Ballykae. Nancy has three cats, Olivia, Harlan and Millie, who are all AMC adoptee's. Nancy and her husband, Geoff, live in Lebanon.
Mary-Alice Atkins - Receptionist
Mary-Alice joined the Animal Medical Clinic crew in July of 2007. She works at the front desk as a receptionist where she enjoys greeting clients and the companions they care so much about. Mary-Alice is the proud owner of 2 dogs - a chihuahua named Chico and an Australian Shepherd named Blaze. She also has a rescue cat named Frankie, who was found at the humane society. Mary-Alice lives nearby with her husband, Steven, and 3 children Steven Jr., Jake and Matt. In her spare time you can find Mary-Alice at the beach, going to concerts, going to the casino or having a fun night out with friends. Not only does she enjoy going to dinner, but she can always fit in time to work out and even read a good book.
Jeffrey has been working at Animal Medical Clinic since June of 2007. He started as a front desk receptionist; as a receptionist he has the opportunity to greet clients and their pets at each visit. He now enjoys being able to alternate between being a receptionist and a doctor's assistant during appointments. When not at work Jeffrey is a full time student at Manchester Community College. Jeff enjoys reading, writing, and playing music. Jeff's fur-kid is a Skye Terrier, Tashka, who he loves spending time with.
Gail Sweeney - Veterinarian Technician
Gail came to Animal Medical Clinic in June 2008 with 35 years experience as a licensed veterinary technician. Her interests include Pet Loss Counseling and Emergency Medicine. Gail and her husband reside in Manchester and are the proud parents of their pets: 2 dogs, 5 cats, 2 mice and a rabbit. In her free time you can find Gail gardening, cooking and cheering for Dale Earnhardt Jr. in NASCAR.
Lyndsey Frigon - Veterinary Assistant
Lyndsey joined the AMC family in the Summer of 2008. She came to us with 8 years experience in the veterinary field. Lyndsey is very interested in the care of exotic animals and has worked with Llama's, Bobcats and Hawks. When she is not at work you can find her dancing, spending time with friends or attending local live band shows. Lyndsey loves all things 80's! She is also owned by the sweetest Pit Bull named Bridgette who is seldom found without a smile on her face!
Krista joined the Animal Medical Clinic crew in the Spring of 2008 with over 5 years experience in the veterinary field. She works at the front desk as a receptionist where she enjoys interacting with our clients and patients on a daily basis. Krista is a proud mother of her beautiful 4 year-old Alaina. She resides in Sturbridge with her boyfriend Jon and Alaina. In her spare time Krista can be found hiking, camping and canoeing on the weekends. Krista's greatest joy in life is spending quality time with her family.
