Tracy Powell, D.V.M.Tracy received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and Bachelor of Science with Honors from Cornell University. Tracy’s area of special interest is Canine Reproduction. She has bred many of the top winning dogs of their breed. She personally breeds and shows harlequin and mantle Great Danes. Her Danes are shown in conformation, obedience, rally, and agility. They are therapy dogs and “animal actors”. They have appeared in commercials, advertisements, music videos, and catalogs. Tracy is the President of the Great Dane Club in CT. Her 4-legged kids include 5 Great Danes, a rescued Golden Retriever, and a cat. Besides being active with her dogs, Tracy enjoys traveling and scuba diving. Some memorable trips include diving with the whale sharks in Belize and getting up close and personal with the animals in the Galapagos Islands.

Danielle is a recent graduate of Ross University, she spent her clinical year at Ohio State University. Danielle was a vet tech in New Jersey for 2 1/2 years before applying to Vet school. Her interests include: exotic medicine, surgery, acupuncture, geriatric joint medicine, Ballet dancing and spending time with her new husband, Allen. Her and husband have 2 dogs Cayon & Tyra and they have 3 cats Taylorella, Shady & Wheezie.
Tara Pitura - Practice Manager
Tara came to the Animal Medical Clinic in March, 2009 with a nursing and business background. She shows and breeds English Bulldogs and is a member of the local bulldog club and bulldog rescue. All of her dogs enjoy visiting nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals, and love to interact with the patients. On her free time, Tara volunteers at EPONA, participates in a horseback riding therapy program, and enjoys coaching youth volleyball.
Lyndsey Frigon - Veterinary Assistant
Lyndsey joined the AMC family in the Summer of 2008. She came to us with 8 years experience in the veterinary field. Lyndsey is very interested in the care of exotic animals and has worked with Llama's, Bobcats and Hawks. When she is not at work you can find her dancing, spending time with friends or attending local live band shows. Lyndsey loves all things 80's! She is also owned by the sweetest Pit Bull named Bridgette who is seldom found without a smile on her face!
Melissa Coratelli - Veterinary Assistant
Melissa joined the Animal Medical Clinic team in August, 2009. She has had several years of experience in the veterinary field. Her favorite part of the job is with cats! She is known as the "cat whisperer" by both her peers and clients. She shares her home with 2 cats and 1 dog. On her free time, she enjoys reading the Twilight Series!
Carol Lindley - Veterinary Assistant
Carol came to the Animal Medical Clinic in June, 2009. She previously worked in the veterinary field, and took time off to raise her 3 sons. She has been breeding labradoodles for just over 4 years and currently shares her home with her husband, 3 sons, 4 dogs, and a cat.
Sue joined the Animal Medical Clinic team in the fall, 2008. She breeds and shows great danes in conformation and is a member of the local Great Dane club. Sue shares her home with 4 black Great Danes! She has 1 son and 1 daughter, and has two beautiful grandchildren!
Lora started at the Animal Medical Clinic in December, 2009. She has two dogs; Charlie, a Chihuahua and Duke, a German short hair pointer/lab mix. She also has a thoroughbred, ex-race horse named Lady and a pony named Harley who she has had since he was 3 months old, and whom she has trained. Lora went to UCONN for Animal Science/Equine, to learn how to train horses. On her spare time, she enjoys photography and painting.
